Ogun APC crisis: Osoba group petitions DSS

By Daud Olatunji

ABEOKUTATwenty four hours after some unknown persons defaced the house of former governor of Ogun State, Aremo Segun Osoba, his loyalists have petitioned the Department of State Services, DSS, in the state.

The petition dated 11th August, 2014 and addressed to the State Director of DSS, signed by the group’s Public Relations Officer, Clement Adeniyi, decried the way and manner the unscrupulous elements wrote ‘uncharitable words’ about the former governor.

Some unknown individuals had in the early hours of Sunday defaced the walls of the GRA residence of Osoba.

In the petition, the group said the development was the handiwork of some political elements in the state and called on the security agency to investigate the matter.

”We see this unbecoming behaviour of some political opponents as a disrespect to a former governor in the state,” it said.
