WASHINGTON (AFP) – The United States ordered the families of embassy staff in Liberia to return home Thursday, as West Africa struggles to cope with the world’s biggest ever outbreak of Ebola.

The State Department also warned US citizens not to travel to Liberia, repeating an earlier instruction from American health authorities.
