Challenging my election in court, exercise in futility – Fayose

Ayo Fayose Campaign Organisation, AFCO, has said that anyone thinking about going to the Tribunal to challenge results of the last Saturday Governorship in Ekiti State will be wasting his time and resources, saying;

“Challenging the results of an election adjudged by the whole world as the best in the history of electioneering in Nigeria will be an exercise in futility.”

The Director General of AFCO, Chief Dipo Anisulowo, in a release issued in Ado_Ekiti yesterday, described claims by some All Progressives Congress, APC, sympatisers that the election was rigged through what they called “photochromic” as laughable.

Anisulowo said despite that the APC candidate, Governor Kayode Fayose had already conceded defeat, the Fayose Campaign Organisation was aware of the falsehood already being peddled by the APC that the ballot papers used on Saturday were designed in a way that made the thumb-prints to disappear “within minutes” while “pre_programmed” votes would later appear.
