In pursuit of consistence  and standard practice, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, (CILT) has presented accreditation certificate to Multimix Academy, for its quality training in Logistics, Transport and Supply Chain Management in Nigeria, even as the institute advocates for Logistics Commission as the way forward for the industry.

In his address during the presentation, Vice President, (West) Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Nigeria, Mr. Ibrahim A. Jibril, FCILT, said, as it was in year 2010, when the certificate for your accreditation as a training provider for the institute’s courses was handed over to you, we are here-again to present to you, the current certificate for your re-accreditation.

The essence of this symbolic activity is in line with the global slogan of the Institute, ‘Stronger Together’, which shows that with our training providers being accredited and performing their role effectively, the Institute will come out stronger with all its supporting institutions.

“We attribute this milestone to our growing memberships level as well as the impressive leap in the number of our training providers in which you are in the top list.

We are therefore formally presenting to you the certificate for the re-accreditation of your institution, the Multimix Academy. We are glad to report here that your institution has been consistent in recording a high pass rate in our examinations and wish to congratulate you accordingly.

Speaking further on the employment opportunities that abound in the industry, Jibril, said, there are many areas of logistics and transport that are yet to be tapped and other windows it can open with regards to employment.

At least with the proposed railway bill that federal ministry of transport are working on, already the federal executive council through the ministry of transport are pushing through.

These are areas that will be open for direct investment and of course you would agree with me that with investment in transport  sector there will be employment opportunities for our youths.

Programme Director, Multimix Academy, Mr. Obiora Madu, while addressing media men in his office said, it’s a welcome development, the fact that  there is accreditation and re-accreditation, means that there are things they were doing well.

Just as you would hear them say we actually stand out as one of their best training institutions in terms of standard, pass rate, quality of questions, marking and everything being done on time.

For us that is our core value. However, there are so many employment government could create if they can create logistics commission instead of transport commission government is thinking of.
