Okerenkoko: Youth leader faults allegations against Johnny, others

A youth leader in Okerenkoko community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. Timi Oluba, has dismissed as baseless, Police allegations of threat to life, attempt to murder and promoting native war, levelled against Chief Michael Johnny, Chief Mosco Johnny and eight other members of the community.

Oluba, who spoke, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, challenged the Police in Warri Area Command to make public any person whose life was threatened by the accused persons.

He said: “There was no time such incident occurred and it is very painful that at this time that Nigerians are commending the Inspector General of Police for repositioning the Police force, some of its officers were frustrating his efforts.

“It should be on record that the life of former militant leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo was never threatened as being alleged.”
