After a successful first edition, Golden Tulip Hotel and Five Stars Music, organizers of Lagos Music Festival, have stepped up plans for the second edition of the show billed to take place at the Golden Tulip Hotel FESTAC, Lagos, on March 7.
Addressing newsmen Friday in Lagos on the forthcoming event, the General Manager, Golden Tulip Hotel, Shousha Mohsen, said, “ the event is aimed towards bringing entertainment to the people of FESTAC. Here at Golden Tulip, we intend to give our customers and the general public the best that they need. That is why we have decided to embark on this kind of show,” he said.
In the same vein, the Group Managing Director U.A.C Nigeria,Mr. Larry Ephraim Ettah, owners of the Golden Tulip Hotel, expressed his happiness to be one of the sponsors of the honorary event. “ I am very excited to welcome Kcee, the Limpopo crooner to this event. The idea of the whole thing is to show our support for Nigerian entertainment industry.”
This event serves as both our Cooperate Social responsibility and also, a talent development avenue. We also, want to use this opportunity to tell foreign investors that Nigerian is a very peaceful to invest in because, we are inviting foreign medias to come for the event. We also, want to create a unique note in FESTAC and to bring full dose of entertainment to the people,” he said. According to him, next edition will be better than this edition.
The president of Five stars music, who is also the Limpopo crooner, K.cee, thanked everybody present and reassures the general public that all hands has been of desk to ensure a hitch free event. “ We are putting these things together to ensure that the mainland enjoys the same kind of entertainment that the Island enjoys,” he said.
