The All Progressives Congress, APC, has named its harmonisation committee for Ondo State. It will essentially coordinate the process of mobilising membership for the party.
The committee’s activities which will start tomorrow will be chaired by the party’s most senior elected political officer in the state, Senator Ajayi Boroffice.
The committee will be inaugurated in Akure, the Ondo State capital by Otunba Niyi Adebayo, National Vice Chairman of the party in the South-West.
The other committee members who were drawn from the former parties that formed the APC include: Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, Ifedayo Abegunde, Idowu Ajanaku, Paul Akintelure and the interim chairman of Ondo APC, Chief Samuel Adesoji, among others.
The committee which has been approved by the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party, will also oversee the up-coming registration of the party in the state.
