FRESH Party Chairman and Presidential aspirant, Rev. Chris Okotie who recently declared his intention to run for the Presidency next year, has announced plans to launch an on-line registration of members of his party.

General Secretary of the party, Mr. Fela Binutu, said the decision to register members online was taken at its meeting in Lagos on Wednesday.

“In the next couple of weeks, we shall start our on-line registration of members. This was the decision reached at our party’s national caucus meeting in Lagos,” he said in a press statement.

Binutu urged members to note that the FRESH Party is very much alive, having won its case against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC’s) deregistration of the party at Federal High Court presided by Justice Gabriel Kolawole on June 29, 2013. He added that FRESH has taken its case to INEC Chairman, Prof. A. Jega over the non-inclusion of FRESH in the ballot paper in some states where elections are being held for Governorship or other offices.
