RTEAN plans 100,000 houses for members

ABUJA—The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, RTEAN, has kick started a housing project to provide 100,000 houses for its members.

The 100,000 houses is the first phase of the project and the association said the objective is part of its own efforts to bridge the national housing deficit put at over 16 million houses.

President of RTEAN, Comrade Musa Isewele who spoke on the development in Abuja during the National Executive, NEC, meeting of the association added that the union was also making plans to build a befitting national secretariat.

He said the architects and partners in the project from Canada had already presented the categories of houses and arrangement had been concluded for a final Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, to be signed.
