Dr Rafiu Oladipo  former board member of the Shooting Star Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan has lamented the poor showing of the club in this year’s  Globacom Premier League.

Dr. Oladipo who is the President-General of the Nigerian Football Supporters Club said all hands must be on deck to prevent the former African Winners Cup Champions from going on relegation.

“The way Shooting Stars FC are going, relegation is staring them in the face. We are not going to let it happen. We are going to mobilize to save the team, the only legacy left in the South West after the extinction of Leventis United, Abiola Babes and Stationary Stores, etc,” he vowed.

He however, blamed the Government of Oyo State for the club’s poor form, stressing, “If the club is given to the private sector, Shooting Stars will rise again.”
