L.G. autonomy: NULGE goes on three days nationwide strike

The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, will on Monday proceed on a three-day warning strike to draw the attention of  the Senate, to the need to recognize the autonomy of the Local Government system across the country.  Chairman of NULGE, Sapele Local Government Chapter, Mr. Stanley Akogba, who disclosed this yesterday in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, also said the Local Chapter of the Union had also directed workers in the council to comply fully with the directive of the Union at the national level which has asked members across the country to proceed on the strike.
