AWKA—AN international agricultural investment company, the Global Green Investment based in the United States of America, USA, is to employ about 50, 000 Nigerians when its planned project in Anambra State takes off.
Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the company, Mrs. Mary Flower, said in Awka that the company’s aim was to reduce unemployment and insecurity in Nigeria through its agricultural project.
According to Flower, the company is already searching for 15,000 hectares of land in Anambra State for the execution of the project.
She added that in addition to employing many Nigerians, it would also empower rural farmers, with a view to curbing rural-urban migration of youths in search of jobs.
