LAGOS —Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen, weekend, inspected ongoing works on Apapa-Oshodi expressway in Lagos State and directed the contractor to expedite action on the construction of the 450-capacity Trailer Park on the expressway to ease traffic flow.
The Minister who was in Lagos on inspection of ongoing projects of his ministry gave the contractor, Boroni Prono Nigeria Ltd a deadline of 16 weeks to complete the Trailer Park located opposite Tin Can Port.
According to a statement by Tony Ikpasaja, Special Advier (Media) to the Minister of Works, “the traffic gridlock on Apapa_Oshodi expressway, especially around the sea ports is not only unacceptable, but also injurious to the nation’s economy.”
