An Ikeja Magistrate’s Court, Thursday, fixed February 28 for further hearing in the suit filed against a Director at TOS Funerals, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Bayo Ogunsola, who allegedly assaulted and battered Benedict Uwalaka, a photo journalist with the Leadership Newspapers.
The trial magistrate Mr. E.O. Ogunkanmi abruptly suspended all the cases before him, as he said he received a sudden call to attend a meeting.

He then asked the counsels in the matters before him to take other dates for the hearing of their suits.
Ogunshola and other officials of the Mortuary allegedly assaulted Uwalaka on August 9, 2012 when he alongisde his colleagues went to cover the release of the remains of the victims of the Dana Air crash to their relatives.
Ogunshola was charged with a two count charge on assault and willful destruction of professional camera worth N715, 000.
Benedict Uwalaka and another journalist, Kola Olasupo are the complainants in the suit.
Ogunsola, had however, pleaded not guilty to the two count charge levelled against him when he was arraigned on August 31, 2012.
