LAGOS—Meanwhile, one of the operational staff of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Mrs. Haajara Musa, has been kidnapped by gunmen while returning home from work at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The kidnappers were said to have contacted her family, demanding a ransom of N10 million after she was kidnapped on Sunday by the unknown gunmen.
Vanguard gathered that the circumstances surrounding her kidnap was still cloudy as the members of the family still kept mute about the incident.
Mrs. Musa who works at the international terminal of the Lagos airport was said to have attended a meeting organised by the Women in Aviation at the weekend before her kidnap.
It was further learnt that top officials of FAAN were to meet with her son to know the details of the kidnap and how to go about getting her back to her family.
Effort to contact the General Manager, Corporate Communications, Mr. Yakubu Dati, to speak on the matter proved abortive at the time of filing in this report.
