ABUJA—President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, appointed Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad, Alhaji Asari Dokubo and 15 others as members of the Federal Government’s delegation to the 2012 Hajj.
Mr Sam Nwaobasi, Special Assistant to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim in a statement in Abuja, said that other members of the delegation that would lead Nigerian Muslims to Mecca the Islamic Holyland, were Sen.
Abdul Ningi, Mr Mudashiru Akinlabi, Justice Suleiman Galadima, Dr. Nurudeen Mohammed, Alh. Sani Sami, Sami Gomo II, Emir of Zuru and Alhaji H. Momoh, the Otaru of Auchi.
Others are Ambassador Haruna Wando, Hajia Rabi Abdu-Binchan, Sen. Walid Jibrin, Alhaji Sani Dauda, Amb. Adamu Aliyu, Sheikh Abdul Abu, Mallam Ahmed Bello, Alhaji Baba Hashimi II, Emir of Damaturu and Ismaila Yusuf, who would serve as Secretary.
