I submitted nomination form to INEC – Akeredolu

AKURE—The Akeredolu Campaign Organisation, ACO, has described the rumour going the rounds that the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN’s flag- bearer in the October 20 gubernatorial election in Ondo State, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, did not meet the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, deadline for the submission of nomination form for the election as not only wicked but false.

In a statement, the organisation’s Director of Media, Publicity and Strategy, Mr. Idowu Ajanaku, said: “This is  part of the wicked plot by the Labour Party, LP, to confuse the people because they know that they will be rejected at the poll.

“Instead of them to showcase their achievements after almost four years in office, all they do is spread malicious rumour about the ACN standard bearer.”

“Akeredolu is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, who does not only have a very deep knowledge of the law of the land, but a specialist in electoral law. He duly submitted his nomination form to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and there was never a time he snubbed INEC over its submission.”
