AKURE – A former governorship aspirant of Action Congress of Nigeria,ACN, Dr. Olu Agunloye, yesterday, said he left the party because of the intrigues in the choice of the party’s candidate, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu.
He blamed the leaders of the party for his exit from the party.
The spokesperson of the Omoluwabi Platform, Mr Wemi Ajegbemiga said in a statement in Akure that the intrigue in ACN would work against Akeredolu SAN in the election.
Ajegbemiga said the leaders of the party would soon abandon its candidate once they know he would not be able to win the election.
But in a reaction the Chairman, Contact and Mobilisation Committee of the A C N, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, said the party is well positioned to win the forthcoming election.
