The Nigeria Football Federation has given approval to Makjus Consultancy Services to organise the First Nigerian Unity Football Tournament.

In a letter of approval signed by Olushola Ogunnowo, NFF head, friendly matches on behalf of the and dated 9th March 2012, the football house said it endorsed the project because there was evident that the organisation could organise a competition of the magnitude proposed by Mackjus Consultancy Services.

Part of the letter reads, “based on proof of evidence submitted to the Federation as regards your ability to organise event of this magnitude, the football federation hereby grant your organisation an approval to commence preparation for the 2012 event.”

The NFF, however, warned that in as much as it was ready to support Mackjus’ intent of contributing to the development of the game at the grassroots level, the tournament must be in strict observance of the general football rules.
