WARRI—FIVE persons, including a chief and a lawyer, have been quizzed by policemen from the Zonal Command of the Police, Benin City, Edo State for allegedly selling the property of a dead man, Chief Jenake Idjogbe in Sapele, Delta State.

The eldest son of the deceased, Mr. Kingsley Idjogbe, told newsmen in Sapele, that his father never sold his house to anybody before he died.

He said those claiming to have sold the house and those who bought the house were impostors, adding that the so-called agents have been arrested by the police.

He said: “The so-called agents, who claimed that my father sold the building to their clients have been arrested and taken to Zone 5, Benin City, Edo State for the alleged illegal role they played in the fake claim to my late father’s property, which I am ready to  fight till the end, because my father’s property belong to his children.”
