Kwara Utd sign 19 players, retain 16

Determined to contest the Nigeria premier league title, Kwara United FC of Ilorin has engaged the services of 19 new players while 16 old players were retained to prosecute the league for Afonga Warriors.

In a statement made available to Inside Out Premier League by the club’s Media Officer, Olayioye Ajide, the team is determined to win laurels in the new league season and with the crops of players recruited, there is no doubt about the competence of the team as they are being motivated by the management to deliver.

Olayioye noted that the players are in high spirit even as they just returned from Ijebu-Ode where they camped for a week and played a number of friendly matches.

The list of the newly signed players include, Michael Oweru, Crown, Suraju Ayeleso, ABS, Ibrahim Abubakar, Ila, Usman Amada, Kaduna, Edebiri Amafe, Wolves, Isiaka Oladuntoye, Kaduna, Seun Sogbeso, ABS; Bolaji Sakin; Thomas Ocheijere, Idah; Kabir Umar, Rangers.

Others are, Segun Alebiosu; Prince Naki; Kehinde Olanrewaju, First Bank; Abdul, Dolphins; Asuquo Phillip, Crown,; Ogar Vincent, ABS; Tony Ejemaigwe; and Luqman Yusuf, 3SC.

The list of old players are Kazeem Yekeen, Adekunle Muritala, Ferinyaro Lanre, Feeder; Jaiyeola Yusuf, Ijaiya Lukman, Odita Okechukwu, Sodiq Suraj, Gbenga Arokoyo, Anthony Okemiri, Kadiri Olokoba, Barnabas Imenger, Sherif Jimoh and Segun Atere .
