The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, is making plans to specially recognize one of Nigeria’s best and most innovative telecommunication company, Etisalat, with a letter of recommendation and a plaque of recognition from the commission in 2012.
The statement was disclosed by the Executive Commissioner of the NCC, Mr. Okechwuku Itanyi at the Etisalat’s Customers’ End of the Year Ball which took place at the Federal Place Hotel on the 17th of December, 2011.
The Director in his statement commended Etisalat for the achievements they have made so far, acknowledging that since their entrant in 2008, there have been great improvement and remarkable changes in the telecoms industry using Etisalat’s customer friendly tariff as an example.
Present at the event was the Director, Consumer Affairs, NCC, Mary Uduma who praised the telecom company for their efforts in 2011.
