The philanthropic gesture of Dafinone towards the development of the Urhobo people to enable them be self employed has been extended from Sapele to Ethiope west local government area.
In a press statement endorsed by the President of the Niger Delta Revolution Force (NDRF), Comrade Patrick Akamovba has lauded Chief Ede Dafinone for his sense of benevolence towards the Okpe-Urhobo nation people. He stated that the Dafinone’s foundation has set up training centres in Oghara, Mosogar and Jesse town to train and empower the youths in electrical, hairdressing and others various professions.
And that machines and others materials will be given to the youths to start up their own business operation upon completion of these training.
Akamovba added that Chief Ede Dafinone is God sent to the Okpe-Urhobo people to help to remove them from the abject poverty and penury they found themselves and pray that Chief Ede Dafinone extend this gesture to other Urhobo local government area, so that Urhobos can benefit from it and called on other Urhobos leaders to emulate such in empowering the youths.
