Some govs are not trustworthy – Anenih

Calabar— Former Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Board of Trustee,  Chief Tony Anenih, has said that some governors and people of authority were not trust- worthy, hence he cannot attend functions organised by them.

Chief Anenih, spoke  at the launch of The Bridge Leadership Foundation, TBLF, set up by Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River State at the Tinapa Business Resort and Leisure.

He said that Imoke had reached the position he finds himself because God was with him, noting that “it is only God that makes one reach any position in life.”

According to him, the governor always stands for the truth and is a team player, who has the attributes and qualities to lead.”

Also speaking, former President Olusegun Obasanjo said that Imoke’s appearance was always deceptive and likened him to a stick of match, which when  struck, produces fire. Anyone who want to make it in life must use every opportunity that affords itself to learn and that was my experience with Liyel.’

”Liyel’s appearance is very deceptive and I mean it.  If you see him and did not talk to him,  you may ask who is this, but he is like a stick of match, it is only when you strike it that you have fire in your hand,” he said.
