Dream Team must play offensively in Kumasi – Fuludu

By KATE OBODO
As the Under-23 team get set to lock horns with Ghana’s Black  Meteors in Kumasi  tomorrow, former Super Eagles player Edema Fuludu is confident the team will triumph over them but was quick to add that the team need extra effort to succeed.

According to Fuludu, for the Under-23 team to achieve this, they should be able to play offensively rather than go defensive as it could boomerang.

“I believe  that with a 3-1 advantage we can qualify. The Ghanaian team are also a quality side but despite our 3-1 goals advantage, we cannot afford to lose 2-0 there .So it could also be possible for us to win by a lone goal there. A win will do us good because we are already on course. We can make it because we have a quality team.

“Eguavoen cannot afford to go there and play a defensive game, if he does, it will be to his own detriment. All he needs do is to fortify the team to able to attack the Ghanaians. The best way to defend is to attack. The Ghanaians believe that  Kumasi is a ground where they can devour us but I’m sure we will overcome them with adequate psychological build up,” Fuludu  said.
