Nigerians from all walks of life have been urged to promote peaceful co-existence, good neighbourliness, productive inter-relationship and religious tolerance in the interest of the Nation and its people.
General Oveerseer of the World Evangelism Bible Church, Ogudu Ojota, Prophet Samson Ayorinde, gave this admonition at a funeral service for one of the Elders of the church, the late Pa David Omoyeni Aluko, recently in Lagos.
Commenting on the state of the nation, Prophet Ayorinde called on all aggrieved Nigerians to forgive percieved iniquities from fellow citizens and put a stop to the wanton killing and maiming of fellow citizens as well as destruction of property for whatever purposes.
He also called on governments at all levels and security agencies to be up and doing in protecting lives and property as well as reassuring the citizens, investors and visitors of their safety.
The General Overseer also advised Nigerians to follow the teachings and ways of Christ in their relationship with others in order to leave a good legacy after their demise.
According to him, the late Elder Aluko who rose from a humble beginning strived hard to make a mark in life through quality training of his children, active participation in church activities and his local community, thus attracting praises from all and sundry on his demise.
Ayorinde commended the late Elder Aluko for his exemplary service to the Ibafo branch of the Church, stressing that his personal presence at the funeral service was to give honour to whom honour was due.
