As the Super Eagles prepare to tackle their Ethiopian counterpart in an all important  Africa Nations Cup qualifier in Addis Ababa tomorrow, former Nigerian Football Association, NF Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima has expressed his hope on the Super Eagles translating their 4-1 trashing of Argentina into a resounding victory against the Walya Antelopes.

The Kano State born sport administrator pointed out that the team has improved because of the series of friendly matches they have played which has now made Nigerians to expect nothing less than victory from them.

“The match was splendid, the boys played very well. Their performance was very good. I hope and expect that they translate it into sweet victory when they play Ethiopia this weekend in Addis Ababa. The team has improved  so much that every one now expects them to win against their Ethiopian counterparts, ”he said.

Asked on his advice to the technical crew led by coach Samson Siasia, the former Chairman of the Kano State Football Association said that “ I did not advised them when they played Argentina and they won so, I do not think they need my advise this time because they know that Nigerians wants victory from them.”

It would be recalled that the Super Eagles defeated the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia 4-0 on March 27, 2011 at the Abuja national Stadium with goals from Peter Utaka and Ike Uche.
