Odum, 15 others emerge Fellow, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Nigeria

Lagos lawyer, Mr. Ekene Odum, has joined the restrictive list of senior arbitrators as he was recently named a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Nigeria.

Odum who is also a lecturer at the Law faculty of the Lagos State University, LASU, is the only one who is neither a judge nor senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, out of the 16 awardees.

Other beneficiary of the prestigious honour are Justice Francis Ikechi Ogbuagu, JSC; Justice Walter Onnonghen, JSC; Justice Mahmoud Mohammed, JSC; Justice Francis Fedode Tabai, JSC; Justice Moore Adumein, JS; Justice Ibrahim Auta, Justice Okechukwu Okeke, Oluwakemi Pinheiro, SAN; Odum Ekene Oluchukwuamaka; Adesina Julius Oladele, SAN; Lawal Mohammed Alade Pedro, SAN; Roland Itoyah Otaru, SAN; Theo Chike Osanakpo, SAN; Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN; Joseph B. Daudu, SAN and Adenipekun Adebayo, SAN.

The awards would be presented to them at the Annual Presidential Dinner and Awards Ceremony scheduled to take place on July 8, 2011 at Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Ikeja, Lagos.
