Maryland Convent School steals show at SNEPCo 2011 Children’s Day celebration

Maryland Convent Primary School at the weekend carted away the star prize after a wonderful cultural display at the Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Conpany organized 2011 Children’s Day celebration at Campos Mini stadium Lagos.

The school’s pupils stood out in a keenly contested cultural show which saw Grace School Gbagada and Temple primary school, llupeju finishing joint second .

The third place price was won by St. Bernadette’s schools ,Gowon Estate ,Ipaja.

Declaring the event open , the deputy governor of Lagos State Mrs Adejoke Oreleope – Adefulire , who was represented by Mrs Alaba Fadairo advised the children – about three hundred(300) representing ten schools to be of good character and be obedient to their parents and the country would be proud of them in the future .

The managing director of SNEPCo ,Chike Onyejekwe led top management staff to the event . A football match between BRF football Academy and Early Start football Academy climaxed event that day. BRF won 3-1.
