LAGOS – Former Governor of Lagos State and chieftain of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Senator Bola Tinubu, yesterday, said ACN would embark on massive development in all the South-West states where the party won in the just concluded general elections.

Speaking at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos while fielding questions from aviation correspondents, Tinubu said the party would work very hard to justify the confident the electorate reposed on the party.

According to him: “Action Congress of Nigeria is concerned, we will work hard to really justify the confident reposed on us in the various states that we have won. We have progressive programmes, we have a strong commitment to people and we are determined in putting the people first.”

On the issue of minimum wage for civil servants, Tinubu called for the immediate evaluation of the revenue allocation formula between the Federal Government and the various states government.

He noted that before the states could pay the minimum wage, the Federal Government must allocate certain amount of revenue to the states.
