AWKA-FORMER deputy governor of Anambra State and candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in this year’s National Assembly election, Dr. Okey Udeh, has alleged that some results collated in the constituency during the election were deliberately mutilated to stop him from being declared winner.
Udeh, who is the incumbent member of the House of Representatives for Orumba North and South, said weekend in Awka that the good thing was that party agents had already been issued with copies of the results before the mutilation of the result at the collation center.
He also complained that figures were allocated to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in many wards, even when there was no election in such areas.
Addressing newsmen in Awka, Ude objected to the cancellation of election results in some wards where he won convincingly and urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to correct the anomaly with a view to arriving at the actual winner of the election.
