Why I want to govern Delta, by Omo-Agege

By Kenneth Ehigiator

Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, gubernatorial candidate in Delta State, Ovie Omo-Agege, weekend, said that his quest to govern the state was driven by the desire to replicate development models in Edo and Lagos States.

Omo-Agege, who gave this indication in an interaction with newsmen in Lagos, also said he had a better chance of upstaging the incumbent, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, this time around, as the people of the state were fed up with the inability of candidate of Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, Chief Great Ogboru, to reclaim his mandate in the past 12 years.

He lamented that despite the huge budgetary allocations to the state, the present government had not ensured development in the, adding that what was on ground did not justify the over N950 billion earned by the state in the past two years.
