Fate Foundation, Wild Fusion train 20 SMEs on online marketing

FATE Foundation and Wild Fusion, have completed an eight weeks capacity building programmes for executive directors of 20 Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs) on online marketing strategies in sales and distributions techniques.

Speaking to newsmen on the programme, Tosin Anibaba, Head, Business and Alumni support services, Fate Foundation stated that the Foundation, though a non-profit, private sector led organization, was created and funded by Nigerians in March 2000 to fill the vacuum of creating employment for the youths and business entrepreneurs because of the high rates of youths unemployment and
poverty in Nigeria.

She said “Fate school of entrepreneurship programme in the last eight weeks in collaboration with Wild Fusion provided online marketing training for 20 SMEs owners. The training programmes were conducted by leading business professionals to practical curriculum that covers a wide range of business topics, designed to address the specific needs of entrepreneurs in the Nigerian market place” She however said “The capacity building training provided the 20 SMEs entrepreneurs the modules on how to use online internet marketing techniques to learn how to plan out engagement strategy using the right medium, targeting, creative and technology”

Also, Head, Operation of Wild Fusion, Ken Okolo explained that Wild Fusion is a digital media sales company that provide internet marketing opportunities to top Nigerian and international brands to increase their brand awareness and conversations with the customer

He said “While utilizing social media networks for our training programmes for instance, we do create content that would align with a user’s social experience,  generates online conversations around our clients’ brand or products to encourage readers to share and respond positively”.

According to Okolo, over the years internet marketing has evolved, from new consumer engagement possibilities to conversion tracking and reporting that involves a well planned out engagement strategy for entrepreneurs using the right medium, targeting, creative and technology.

“Our clients have the opportunity to market themselves to a broad social and professional network, and if required, they can target their marketing campaign to reach specific professionals within a wide range of possible demographic options’, he said

He however said “Wild Fusion offers premium media opportunities on social media sites including LinkedIn and facebook and through our training, our clients  have the opportunity to market themselves to a broad social and professional network, and if required, they can target their marketing campaign to reach specific professionals within a wide range of possible demographic options”

Testifying to the gains of the training programmes, Executive Director of Wandy food limited, Gbonju Awojuyigbe said “My training has given me the opportunity to now share and make the world more open and connected to my food network  to over 200 customers in Nigeria”
