Making this known to Sunday Vanguard Sports, Ahlaji Abdul Adama said he is full of joy but would be more joyful is his side could seat comfortably atop the log at the end of the season as they are desiring to win all their matches.

“I feel elated as the boys are doing very well. The heartland match was a very difficult one for us but the boys overcame all the strategies of the Nazi Millionaires. At a point, we had to introduce one of our new sign-ons that came in at the beginning of the season.

He was the one that actually scored the goal which gave us the victory. It has moved us up on the log from 4th to 3rd.”
“We want to maintain this fit and see how we can climb to the first position. It is a difficult task but we are hoping we would achieve it.

We are playing all our matches to win. I think any club that is aiming to win all its matches, is a contender for the title.”
In the mean time, the club’s Team Manger, Alloy Chukwuemeka said that the Owerri side took time to study their tape that is why they found the match very difficult.

“Heartland played our game in other to frustrate us. I think they studied our tape that is why they were able to cage our known player. I praised their coaches for a job well done.”

“For my boys, they were able to subdue the Owerri lads due to their youthfulness, determination and resilience.”
“Alhassan Saleh the goal scorer, is one the players we brought in this season, they could not cage him because they did not know him.”

“I want to use this medium to dedicate our victory to owner of the club, Governor Bukola Saraki for winning his senatorial ticket today.”
