ALLEGED preferential treatment given to Senator Abiola Ajimobi, one of the governorship aspirants of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Oyo State has shaken the confidence of other aspirants in the leadership style of a former Governor in the state, Alhaji Lamidi Adesina.

Ajimobi, contested the 2007 election on the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party,ANPP before he defected to the party some months ago.

Alhaji Adesina has said for the umpteenth time that the party would give all aspirants a level playing ground. But, the alleged role the leader of the party in the state is playing has jolted other aspirants who accused the party chieftain of undue favoritism.

As a result, some members who have remained with the party during its trying times wept and angrily went to their residence.

To this end, they have vowed to defect to Accord Party where Senator Rashidi Ladoja would declare his governorship ambition this week.

Vanguard gathered that Chief Bayo Adewusi who is from Ibarapa area of the state was annoyed and he had to confront Alhaji Adesina in his Felele residence.

Prior to the recent crisis that resulted in the sharing formula of the state executive, there had been some skirmishes during the party registration of members. This made Senator Ajimobi to boycott the exercise.

But, Alhaji Adesina still allowed him to get his members registered after the conclusion of the exercise.

In the recent ward congress, it was gathered that the party leader allotted some scores to Ajimobi in wards where he did not have any supporters.

In the same vein, Chief Femi Lanlehin has berated the former governor of Oyo State, Chief Kolapo Ishola for scoring Lam Adesina low on performance during his tenure in 1999.

He said, Chief Ishola lacked everything to accuse Adesina of non-performance.

He condemned Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala for not giving the best governance to the people of the state.

Lanlehin said, “About four years now that Akala has started ruling the state, he has got over N300 billion from the federal allocation and internally generated revenue. This is the money he has managed on behalf of the state. What has he done with it? All the roads are bad. He constructed bad roads across the state. The projects he executed were mere conduit pipe to siphon money. He has wasted the state
