Job bombings height of irresponsibility, says NPC

By Chris Ochayi
The Nigerian Peoples Congress, NPC, has described the multiple bomb blasts in Jos, Plateau State, on the eve of Christmas, which killed over 32 people and 73 injured, as the height of rascality, irresponsibility and sadism.

The party in a statement condemning the heinous crimes by its National Chairman, Prince Ngozi Emioma, challenged the Federal Government to constitute a high-powered probe panel to unravel the masterminds of the attacks, with a view to bringing the culprits to book.

Noting that it was shocked over the bomb blasts, the party called “on the Federal Government to investigate this senseless killing of innocent Nigerians in their homeland and prosecute all those involved in this cowardly act.

“Our prayers and thoughts are with the families of those that lost their loved ones.  We also pray for the wounded that God will comfort and heal them. Jos has had more than its share of disturbances.”
