UGHELLI—PROJECT Engineer, Woksons International Limited, Mr. Noel Servigon, yesterday, assured that the company will complete all projects awarded to it by the Delta State government.
Servigon, who gave the assurance while fielding questions from newsmen during an inspection tour of section ‘A’ of the Ughelli/Asaba Road dualization, said the company has the pedigree for performance.
He said the company has its strong root in Nigeria and known for its high proficiency in executing good jobs, adding that the company was not known for abandoning projects awarded to it.
Saying that it had completed about 20 kilometers in the Ughelli/Asaba Road dualization project, he expressed hope that the project will be completed in November, 2011 if their certificates were paid promptly.
He further appealed to the state government to fast track the payment of compensation to people, whose property were affected by the road construction, adding that the job was being slowed down by the delay in the payment of compensation.
Also speaking, the engineer in charge of the Issele_Uku/Obonkpa road being handled by the company, Engr Victor Urhoboghara, appealed to the people of the area to released equipment of the company they seized. He said the company would go back to site in the second week of November, 2010.
