UGHELLI—VICE Chairman of Patani Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr Elijah Ologe, has promised to mobilize youths of the council for the re-election of Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan in the upcoming re-run election ordered by the Court of Appeal.
Ologe, who stated this, yesterday, in a chat with our correspondent in Ughelli, Delta State, said the council is a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, area, adding that they were working round the clock to deliver the council to Uduaghan.
According to him, the PDP-led administration of the former Governor, Uduaghan did much for the people of the state in all spheres of life, adding that the area witnessed more dividends of democracy under the immediate past administration of Uduaghan.
Urging the people to take the court ruling in good faith and remain calm, he said Uduaghan was merely on leave and would return to Government House at the end of the 90 days.
He said the people of the area were determined to reaffirm the votes they gave Uduaghan in 2007 in the re-run election, reiterating that the entire political class in the council was working to deliver him (Uduaghan) in the re-run election.
