NB Plc showers N26.5M on GUS winner, others

The winner of the recently concluded Gulder Ultimate Search Oluwaremi Oyekunle and the eleven other contestants he beat to emerge tops, were last Saturday rewarded by Nigerian Breweries Plc brewers of Gulder brand of beer and sponsors of the reality show.

The 12 contestants were showered with a total prize money of more than of N26million, with the winner getting N7.5m and a SUV worth N10million. last Saturday in Lagos.

The 12 contestants who faced the harsh and unfriendly Omo Forest, an undulating plains of the Ogun State Forestry Plantation in Ijebu East Local Government Area, Ogun State, were unveiled to the public at a red carpet event held at the new Expo Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The occasion was anchored by the celebrity Nollywood actor and the programme presenter, Mr. Bob-Manuel Udokwu.

The first contestant evicted 22 year old, Rivers state born Dandison Strongface went home with N350, 000 cash prize while the next person in the line of eviction Tonia Oduah went home with N400, 000.

Next in the order of eviction was 24 year old Simeon Okorougo, a professional model who smiled home N450, 000 cash prize and his trail was Sabdat Bamitale Ahmed nicknamed Mama Jungle who got received half a million naira.

Ofoegbu Ozioma a 23 year old graduate of geology smiled home with a cash prize of N550, 000, while the cantankerous Mercy Itohan Ebhodaghe, the 23 years old College of education graduate of theatre arts smiled home with a cash prize of N600, 000

The next evictee, Oduche Adaobi, the 22 year old fresh graduate who exhibited so much energy that put men on their toes during some of their energy sapping tasks, received the sum of N650,000, while the most interesting female contestant and the

Last Girl Standing, Caroline Ukachi Mbanu, a 22 year old Imo state born Amazon, went home with N1million cash price as Last Girl Standing and an additional N700, 000 for her fifth position on the order of rank in the search.

Fourth placed 22 year old Chukwuma Anyanwu who took time off from his school, University of Hertfordshire in United Kingdom to participate in the adventurous search N750, 000 cash prize. .

The duo of Adeleke Oshimade and Atiku Abubakar Kadiri, both ranked second in the competition, 23 years of age and hailed from Ogun state and Edo state respectively were called up o stage same time. And for their efforts, they went home with N2million each.

In addition the prize money, all the contestants received 18 karat gold neck lace.
