NNPC Joint Venture executes N100m projects in Edo, Delta

WARRI—A TOTAL of 174 open market stalls as well as a rehabilitated science laboratory valued at over N100 million built by the NNPC/Pan Ocean Oil Corporation Joint Venture in Edo and Delta States have been handed over to the benefitting communities.

The projects, situated in Obagie, Obayantor and Ologbo communities in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State as well as Ovade and Otefe in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, were part of Pan Ocean Oil Corporation’s policy of giving back to its host communities as well as stimulating economic growth amongst indigenes of its area of operations.

At the different commissioning ceremonies, the Assistant General Manager, Public and Community Relations, Pan Ocean Oil Corporation, Mr. Emmanuel Omo-Irabor, promised that the company would continually do more for its host communities.

He said the asphalting of 18.1 kilometre access road to link Obagie-Nokenkporo from Okha junction to Ikpe junction at Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State is in the process of being awarded.
