A PDP  support group in Delta North Senatorial district, pushing for the second term of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, “Uduaghan Vision”,  has insisted that no politician from the district should contest the 2011 governorship election.

The group also cautioned against the tendency by any Delta North to accept the position of running mate to any governorship candidate in next year’s general elections

These decisions were contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a crucial meeting between leaders and local government area co-ordinators of the group in Asaba.

The group said its support for the candidature of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in the 2011 general election was irreversible and that the governor needed a second term to enable him consolidate on the achievements so far recorded.

In the communiqué delivered by the campaign secretary of the group, Hon. Sylvester Eseagwu, it also reaffirmed its support for Dr. Cairo Ojuogboh for Delta North Senatorial seat in the senate and Hon. Ndudi Elumelu for the Aniocha Oshimili Federal Constituency seat in the Federal House of Representatives in the 2011 general elections.

The group assured that a formidable political structure had been put in place to actualize the political ambition of all vision members.
