Tuomo community lauds FG over skills acquisition centre

WARRI—THE Federal Government has been commended by Tuomo community on the skills acquisition centre sited in the town in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The Amananaowei of Tuomo, Chief Akpola Ekperi and the community chairman, Mr. Ereide Clement, in a statement, said  the Federal Government’s gesture, “is a clear indication of its avowed commitment to develop the Niger Delta,” stressing that the centre will open up and galvanise the socio-economic potentials of Tuomo community and its environs.

The community lauded President Goodluck Jonathan for his good leadership of the country, adding that the centre, when completed will benefit the people of Tuomo and the whole of Delta State as well as a delivery of the post-amnesty programme.

Hailing President Jonathan for appointing Elder Godsday Orubebe as Minister of Niger Delta, the community expressed their support for the present administration of President Jonathan and his Vice, Arch. Namadi Sambo for their leadership of the country.

They also thanked their son, the Minister of Niger Delta, Elder Orubebe for bringing Tuomo community to limelight. “Indeed it is a great honour done the people of Tuomo Federated Community,  to have the skills acquisition centre cited in Tuomo Town,” the community said.

. This will make our people, particularly the youths to be  more productive and contribute meaningfully to the society. We pray God should give him the wisdom to fulfill his dreams for this nation,” the said, also commending state Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and the Commissioner for Environment, Mr . Bello Orubebe for the supply of desks to schools in Tuomo.
Tuomo, the traditional seat of Tuomo clan was set agogue when  Elder Orubebe,  recently flagged-off skills acquisition centre at Tuomo.
