Guinness anniversary: Winner meets Black Eyed Peas

Awofade has meet with the music group; Black Eyed Peas in Dublin, Ireland, a statement    emanating from Guinness Nigeria has said.

Awofade, a  bar_owner in Lagos came in contact with the musicians after winning the Guinness Studio Expereince in the Guinness 250 anniversary consumer promotion. However, Awofade won one of three remarkable experiences in the first global promotion for Guinness that was created as part of the worldwide celebrations to mark 250 years since Arthur Guinness signed the 9,000-year lease on the St. James’s Gate Brewery in Dublin.

Awofade and her two sons, who are visiting  the UK for the first time, were flown to the UK capital where they visited the Metropolis studio to meet the band, before being treated to an exclusive private performance.

The band played ‘Boom Boom Pow’, ‘I’ve Gotta Feeling’ and ‘Meet Me Halfway’ as their set. After the intimate show, the lucky winners were taken out to explore London where they enjoyed a perfect Guinness before being treated to a VIP experience at The Black Eyed Peas concert at London’s O2 Arena.

Mrs. Awofade won the prize from a pool of hundreds of thousands of entries in the competition from across the globe.
