Glo/CNN’s African Voices hosts Rwandan genocide hero

Rwandan Genocide hero, Paul Rusesabagina, will be the star guest in this weekend’s edition of African Voices on CNN International, a programme sponsored by national operator, Globacom.

The 30-minute magazine show runs on Saturdays, from 12.00 to 12.30 p.m., with repeat broadcasts at 7.30 p.m. on Saturdays and at 6.00 p.m. on Sundays.

A statement by Globacom said this weekend’s edition is a tribute to Rusesabagina who saved hundreds of lives during the Rwandan genocide in 1994. Over a million people reportedly died in the war.

Rusesabagina was honored for saving 1,268 refugees during the Rwandan Genocide. He was the assistant manager of the Sabena Hôtel des Mille Collines before he became the manager of the Hôtel des Diplomates, both in Kigali, Rwanda.
