Explosions rock Yenagoa

Yenagoa -Two separate explosions yesterday rocked Yenagoa the Bayelsa State capital causing serious panic among residents.
The explosions which ripped through the capital city simultaneously Vanguard learnt occurred at about 8.30pm Wednesday night. No life was lost in both incidents.
One of the explosions was said to have been detonated around the serene Baybridge Road area which host private residence of state deputy governor, Peremobowei Ebebi while the second occurred behind the  perimetre fence of White Eagle Hotel in the Etegwe suburb owned by one Chief Nathan Ile, alleged to be the father of Comrade Tony Ile, the state coordinator of Save Niger Group.
Though information about the two blasts was hazy it was however learnt that it might not be unconnected with the tensed political situation in the state.
Some residents who spoke anonymously said they heard loud bang which they suspected to be dynamite.
Contacted, the state police public relations officer, Mr. Solomon Omoemin said he heard of the incident but decline further comment until tomorrow(today) when he must have got the details.
