Winners emerge in Union Bank’s regional promo draw

More customers of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc have emerged winners at the bank’s regional draw held recently in the Federal Capital Territory, (FCT) Abuja, carting away brand new cars and motorcycles amidst eulogies for the bank.

The draw which was the sixth in the series, witnessed the emergence of winners of three (3) brand new Toyota corolla cars and 20 motorcycles winners.

Specifically the winners of the Toyota corolla cars were  Mrs Stella Dupe Akogun customer of the  of Federal Secretary branch, at FCT, Abuja; Messrs Real Gold International Limited, customer of Ilorin branch, Kwara State and Mr Francis Agbatse, customer of Jos Main Market branch, Plateau State.

The Abuja draw brought the total number of cars so far won by customers in the bonanza to 18 Toyota corolla cars, 120 motorcycles and cash prizes, amongst who were five Millionaires in five regional draws previously held in Owerri, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kaduna and Lagos.

The excited customers who spoke separately at the draw commended the Bank for a well organised event while reiterating their continued loyalty to the Bank, for living up to its promises.

Earlier, the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive, Mrs. Funke Osibodu, who was represented by the Executive Director, Commercial and Retail Banking, (North) and Public Sector, Ibrahim Kwargana, stated that the Savings Bonanza was packaged to leverage on the Bank’s extensive branch network and strength in retail and consumer banking in order to mobilize deposits from widely dispersed savers, especially the small-scale savers ones. Such funds, she said, would be channeled towards the productive real sector investments for national economic growth.

She also disclosed that the Grand Finale of the Saving Bonanza scheduled for May 27, 2010 in Lagos would produce winners of the ultimate prizes of 3 brand new Toyota Land Cruiser Jeeps, one threeBedroom Luxury flat in Lagos, and one three-Bedroom Bungalow in Abuja, as well as more brand new Toyota Corolla cars, Motorcycles andcash prizes.
