Suspected militants storm Abuja, demand to see FCDA boss

By Henry Umoru

ABUJA—WHAT would have been described as a very dark weekend for the Executive Secretary, Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, Engr Mohammed Sani Alhassan was quickly averted.

Apparently angered by the level of infrastructural development in the nation’s Capital city, with the FCDA being the body responsible for the construction work, four suspected Niger Delta militants, weekend, stormed the new office of the  Executive Secretary demanding to see him.

When they got to the office, the four men who were dressed in T-shirts were told that the FCDA Executive Secretary was at a meeting.

Not satisfied with the answer given to them by the security men attached to the Secretary’s office, the gang allegedly led by one Tamar Donibori became impatient and roared saying, “if he is not going to see us he doesn’t know what he is doing therefore he should leave the office.”

When briefed on the arrival of his ‘Special Guests’ and sensing the danger ahead if a gentleman’s approach was not adopted, Engr Alhassan then came out and ushered them into his office.

According to a source in the office of the Executive Secretary, the four-man gang while explaining their mission to Engr Alhasssan disclosed that they operate under the aegis, Niger Delta Revival Peace Foundation.
