The Chief Executive Officer of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, Engr. Chris Akamnonu also commended the Lagos State Police Command for ensuring that the vandal was prosecuted according to the law of the land.

The judgment, he said will serve as a deterrent to people who feel they can steal and destroy Government properties at will.

He also applauded the effort of the Owode Elede Community for their vigilance and enjoin other communities to ensure adequate protection of PHCN installations in their communities.

He further expressed happiness that efforts of the law enforcement Agencies, vigilante groups as well as public sensitization by the PHCN is now yielding result.

However, he warned that there is no hiding place for vandals of Electricity materials as all hands are on deck to frustrate their efforts.
