Oghara King urges Nigerian youths to win at Singapore 2010

The Youth Olympic team camped in Delta State has received royal blessing from the king of Oghara Kingdom, to the do well at the Youth Olympics billed for Singapore in August.

Ovie Oreki 11 charged the team to do all they can to win and bring glory to the country, when he hosted the 14 boys and girls camped in Oghara, by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria ahead of the maiden Youth Olympics. The Monarch said that he was happy to have the team camped in his domain , adding that the only way the team can justify their stay in Oghara was to ensure that they win medals at the Games.

After treating the athletes and coaches to a sumptuous launch of local delicacies and drinks, he prayed and blessed the team .

“We have been well taken care of by the king of Oghara. He has been so supportive and has kindly prayed for us to succeed at the Youth Olympics,” said coach Gabriel Opunna.
