PORT HARCOURTâ€”Â Youths of Niger Delta have been urged to make use of opportunities provided by Federal Governmentâ€™s post-amnesty programme to pursue education and skills that could give them secured future.
Describing education as a relevant instrument for national development, the paramount ruler of Choba in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, King R.W. Okocha, also urged governments in the country to take steps to effectively build the structures of education.
He said there was need to develop the educational sector as it would take the nation to a greater height.
Okocha, who spoke during the presentation of science equipment to Olobo Premier College, Choba, by Dufil Prima Foods Limited, said no amount of money spent on education would be a waste. The monarch was represented by the Chairman, Community Development Committee, CDC, Igwe Chukwuemeka.
